Recreational Sports Platform
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, booking a game, or participating in any activity (the "Activities"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and the Liability Waiver.
If you do not agree, you may not use the platform or participate in Activities.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to participate.
- By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
- The platform reserves the right to verify age and deny participation at its discretion.
3. Bookings & Payments
- All games must be paid for in advance to secure a spot.
- A booking is only confirmed once payment is successfully processed.
- Spots are limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
- The platform reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking at its discretion.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Player Cancellations
- Cancellation policies may vary depending on the specific game and venue. The applicable cancellation window will be clearly stated at the time of booking.
- Cancellations made outside the stated cancellation window may be eligible for a refund or platform credit, at the organizer's discretion.
- Cancellations made within the stated cancellation window are non-refundable.
- Failure to attend a booked game ("no-show") is non-refundable.
Organizer Cancellations
If a game is cancelled by the organizer (including but not limited to weather, field availability, or insufficient participation), participants will receive either:
- a full refund, or
- a credit toward a future game.
The method of compensation will be determined at the organizer's discretion.
5. Game Participation & Attendance
- Participants are expected to arrive on time.
- Late arrival may result in loss of participation without refund.
- The organizer reserves the right to adjust teams, modify formats, and make scheduling changes as necessary to ensure a playable and safe experience.
6. User Conduct
All participants must:
- Behave respectfully toward others.
- Avoid aggressive, reckless, or dangerous behavior.
- Follow instructions from the organizer or designated game host.
The platform maintains a zero-tolerance policy for:
- Fighting or violent conduct.
- Harassment or discrimination.
- Disruptive or unsafe behavior.
Enforcement. The organizer reserves the right to remove any participant from a game, deny participation in future games, or suspend or permanently ban accounts. These actions may be taken without refund.
7. Assumption of Risk
Participation in Activities is at your own risk. All users must agree to the Liability Waiver prior to participation.
8. Field Conditions & External Factors
Games may be affected by factors outside the organizer's control, including:
- Weather conditions.
- Field availability or restrictions.
- External disruptions.
The platform does not guarantee uninterrupted scheduling and reserves the right to modify or cancel games as necessary.
9. Platform Role
The platform organizes and facilitates recreational sports activities. Participants acknowledge that:
- Activities are informal and recreational in nature.
- Skill levels and game conditions may vary.
10. Media & Recording
By participating in Activities, you agree to the Media Release terms outlined in the Liability Waiver, including consent to being recorded and the use of such content for promotional and commercial purposes.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the platform and its representatives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform or participation in Activities.
12. Modifications to Terms
The platform reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
